Hey Guys, I finally got some pics up of some of the restoration. I have quite a few but the web pages only fit so many so here is the new link for part 2.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/73brewstertransam/

As you can see the car was a mess. We had to do part of the front floor, rear quarters, part of the trunk pan over the axle, tail panel and roof. All the parts where taken off a 73 Firebird that we got from Fabulous Firebirds in Missouri a while ago. I don't have any great photos of the metal work on my computer, I will find them as I know I had some photos with no quarters and tail panel somewhere. We took the quarters off with the outer wheel well's still attached so that we would have the correct welds on the lips.

You can see in a few photos with some of the help! My dad is in picture "50" with me. The Canadian Flag photo is with my friend Chris who helped a lot on my car, that was Canada Day and we put in a long shift! Also there is a pic of my fiancee Becky who I would not let escape doing work as well!
I included a few photos of all our cars, the 70 Camaro is my brother's and its at his wedding. My dad owns the 79 T/A and the 57 Cadillac.
We do all the work other then engine machine work. My dad has been painting cars for 20+ years as a hobby and all of the cars we have he has painted other then the 78' which I painted with his help.
As you can see we are a pretty big car family!

Looks like a lot of time was spent making this a very nice car, who ever buys the car if you decide to sell it will certainly be happy with there purchase. In pic # 15 which shows the seat, it appears to me that the seat hinge is different then anything I have in either of my two cars, one being a 73 F400. Does anyone else have a similar hinge ?as I cannot be sure that my seats our original to my cars.

My brother and I just had our 73 white, 4spd T/A and a 70 cuda 440, 4spd, dana car stolen. Someone stole the whole rig the tow vehicle, trailer with the cars in it this past Oct. at a storage house in Cali.
If and when your ready to sell pm me with the info we would be interested.

The date of Manufacture was April 26 73. I have what I thought was the original master but we could not use it as the walls were too pitted, I will look for it today to see if there was a date code or part number on it to make sure it was original.

Gorgeous, abso-frickin-lutely gorgeous. Brewster over saddle is the classiest color combo of all time.

Has me rethinking going black again on my '73.

think it was an inside job. Thay are'nt moving too fast on it but, whata ya gonna do.
We really don't think these cars will surface too soon.

Colin, I see the original (brake res) old unit that is rusty and crusty and for an April car it should have had bleeders. Maybe at some point over the cars 35 + year it had been replaced????????? weird for an April production car not to have them.
I see you had removed the roof and wanted to know why???? the car appeared to be solid up top?
Cool to see a large group (family and friends) enjoying the same hobby. Lots of us have to travel many miles to get together with people who even know let alone understand what a F-Body even is.
Enjoy!

Hi Brewster, I checked the part number on the old one and it does not match up to be an original. Very possible that the master was done at somepoint as the car had 93k miles on it before we go it.
I hoped we didn't have to change the roof but when I start poking around and trying to clean it up both the front and rear window channels had a lot of rot through. I had the better roof so we changed it because I didn't want anything to come through. We had done the same thing on my 70' I own as well so we knew how to do it and what sort of job it was.
I was really luckly to have people that would help, it would still probably be in pieces if I didn't have them!
Thanks for the good words!

Yeap, figured it must have been something the photos didnt show! Killer car and hope we get to see it sometime at a big event, any thoughts of Norwalk, Indian Uprising, Nationals, or what about the POCI show this July in Ohio??????????????????????????????
I'm hoping to make the poci show with a bunch of fellow TA friends. It a far drive from your location and understand if thats not an option.
Are there any big events north of the border?????????????????????????
