Default Will this work on my 78 firebird

The seller said it will not, It looks a lot like the one on my 78.

It WILL fit your 78.

Make sure it's NOT rotted out below the battery box.

I'm not to sure why it wouldn't. It may have something to do with the way the nose is shaped. Or maybe the head light/ grille bezel bulges back into the engine compartment.

The radiator support will fit.The steel bumper/nose suport will not.2 different things.Make sure the seller is not talking about the bumper/nose support.

The RAD SUPPORT is what I was referring to in my previous post.

As Dean states, front bumper/rebar is different for 78.

dont trust it! how come he doesnt disassemble it & take pics of the bare core support? just a thought because there might be rust that the pic didnt catch

He removed the battery tray that was mounted over the original an it has rusted the support mount to the frame out. so thats the end of that. Thanks for all the reply's an heads up.
