That Liberty Blue '69 with the " A JUDGE" plates was local to me. It was wrecked not long after the owner, Sal Mola, had completed a 5 year frame off on it. He was heart broken, I haven't seen him out at any shows or cruises since the accident.

You can check out the frame off pics here- http://UltimateGTO.com/rest02.htm

I believe that car is alive and well again - found a new owner, was restored and sold.

I remember seeing that body (prior to the wreck) up on planks in his garage with a beautiful dressed frame rolled underneath. Amazing work he did in that little garage!

I believe the white IV car was in IL or that area and was sold with a 71 lemans part donor IE rust free body as it was very far gone but all there as far as all of the important numbers parts. I watched it because it is almost like mine but mine is an IV auto. Mark

a friend of mine in the late 80s had a mint 69 CR judge until an oil truck backed into it.
Pretty much crushed & totalled the car. How an oil truck didnt see a bright orange car is beyond me...

Where did you see that burned Judge?

I think this may be the same car. PY Thread ---> http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...ight=blue+ebay

If this is the same car it was a RAIII 4spd Parchment interior, special order paint, hood tach. Sold on ebay in Nov 2006.

Hard to tell if the burned Judge is Windward Blue or Liberty Blue so I uploaded your photo so everyone can compare side by side.
Might be Liberty Blue and maybe this car ----> http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...ight=blue+ebay

Sad sight either way.

Default My Judge?!?!

GTO John - Where did you the picture of the carosel red 69 Judge sitting on the trailer with the snow in the background (next to the picture of the convertible on the left that took a major front hit? I'm as close to 100% certain that 69 on the trailer is my Judge. From what I can read on the plate in the picture, it's an exact match to the plate I have documented with my car when I picked it up a few years back.

This is the one that I thought you were bidding on on e-bay when I won it. I only have the auction number, so long has passed that the details of the auction have been archived/deleted by e-bay.

Got any more of it you can share with me?

Like mentioned earlier it was sold on ebay on January 31 2005 with a buy it now of 20,000. It was sold out of Garden City, Michigan. It was found in a garage in Detroit back in 98 and had been sitting there since 1976. It was a Pontiac Assembly car with the original 1970 issue michigan title and came with a 72 Lemans sport that was running. Person with the ebay named super-cars won it with the buy it now and the auction only lasted 16 minutes going from the notes I have of the auction.

Didn't Mitch get the trunk lid and spoiler? Kevin Bowden of Duncan got the hood if memory serves me right.

Here's a few shots of my 69 in 1977 after an 80 year old blew thru a stop sign. I bought it for $900 (imagine buying a #'s matching running driving Judge for that now!) & that's what the insurance co gave me for it when they totaled it.

It was one of the first 2000 Judges & was the very first one sold in Valparaiso in 69.

Sure wish I'd been smart enough to keep this one, oh well!
