Default Oversize Thrust Bearing

4-bolt, 455' block with non-matching factory caps. Line honing will cure the bore, but thrust surface misalignment is the problem. Jim Hands book(page 26) mentions overthick thrust bearings. Has anyone used these? Is this the solution? Are they still available? Where? Other expert suggestions or comments...Thanks.

Over thick thrust bearing are ONLY available for a .040 under crank. As far as I know. Thats what we carry.
