Default Lowest Mileage Judges

After seeing uber low mileage Mustangs Camaros..Hemis.....and the like on BG Auctions and Mecum Auctions. One would think a very low mileage Judge would pop up.

What are the lowest mileage documented Judges of each of the 3 years?

Kramer Pontiac out of Scottsbluff, Nebraska campaigned a 70 Starlight black Ram Air IV car that ended up in New York. Recently was restored. Believe it has 75 or 1,000 miles on it.

Question is which is the best, lowest mileage, unrestored, original Judge.

Most if not all the real low mileage muscle cars are ex race cars that had no street mileage or did not have the speedometer hooked up. This does not in any way mean that they were in good shape when restoration started or were not extensively abused on the track.

For just Judges that I know of:

69 Ray Faro Judge – 55 miles on the odometer

70 Big Iron Judge – 29 miles on the odometer

70 Tin Indian – 88 miles on the odometer

Those of us that went to POCI conventions in the 80's may remember a white 1970 Ram Air IV Judge 4-speed with less than 6,000 miles. I have not spoken to the owner in many years so I will not give his name.

Mine has 89,000........................................

Never thought to check the mileage on any of my Judges. Most of them look like they were driven alot however.

My 69 RAIV Judge has 79,000 miles on it. Previous owner bought it in 1997 with 64,000 miles.

My Judge had 102,000 on it when it was parked in 1976. It hasn't driven a mile since.
2009 will be the year it awakens from its 33-year coma.

My 69 Judge had 27,000 original miles on its original engine in Dec '82. The documentation includes a feature article in "Classic GTO". It has 33,000 miles today.

Incidentially it was the "test car" and ran a 13.64 at 104 mph on pump gas at Green Valley Race City that day with a bum throttle cable according to the article.

Yes this is true, and they raced these cars until they broke but some were true low mileage machines. These odometers didn't read past 100,000 so it would be very difficult to tell how many actual miles a car has on it and it was quite easy to turn these numbers back.

On the other end of that spectrum my last 70 Judge had 414,000 miles with one repaint and two (original RA III) engine rebuilds before my ex got custody about 6 years ago.....

I can think of a lot of things I'd like to give my ex-wife. A Judge and a guitar aren't even on the list!

Sorry to hear about your car G&G. It does sound like you enjoyed it a bit before she got it.
