1963 axle decoding
build sheet say 1 A H.... the book doesnt show a 1 A H , but 8 A H is a 342....would that be it?

What was the model , engine , tranny , A/C Yes/No ? I have a 62 and a 63 dealer brochure with the Powertrain chart to look up.. The lower first digit usually means a hi-gear like a 2.41 or 2.56

63 gp 4 speed no ac, 06b block 4 bbl... i have the chassis manual too but i dont see the same thing the build sheet shows.

3.42, COLOR WHITE, LETTER CODE AH, STAMPED NUMBER 8(STANDARD), SAFE-T-TRACK,COLOR WHITE & GREEN, LETTER CODE AH, STAMPED NUMBER 8L. THATS FROM 1963 REAR AXLE CHART.
