70 bird bows & clips
Im trying to put up my headliner!
The only problem is the car was bought with the bows and 9 of them for some reason, one is very thin compared to the others. The larger diameter bows seem like they are too large for the clips. They also (sanded??) the bows before they painted them w/ primer. My question is: Does anyone have a picture or some kind of drawing showing what order they go in according to their bends or something to help out a bit. Where to place the small bow ect. Thanks In Advance Chris |

Maybe I have 1st gen bows?
Whats the diameter of 1st gen bows? The guy I got the car from has a lot of 1st gen birds. Are the 1st gens larger in diameter than the 2nd gens? Im wondering if they are the wrong year.

My 70 T/A, 5 bows, all 39'' plus or minus 1/4'', 1/8'' dia [125 thou]. should be nice and smooth so the headliner can slide on them as you stretch it, regards Bruce.
