Probably not the place to ask, but how do you upload photos, and have them embedded in your response the way Keith did? Whenever I upload, they are attached at thumbnails....

 And my favorite, the debut of the Trans Am at the 1969 Chicago Auto Show. Also note the 69 Judge (left), and the 69 Firebird 400 sitting on the turntable behind the Trans Am.

 Brand new 1980 Trans Am Special Edition sitting at our local Pontiac dealership.  The 1968 GTO at the Chicago Auto Show.  The Judge arrives at Bert Adams Pontiac!  A new 1969 Firebird 400 at the dragstrip.  1973 GTO at the 1978 U.S. Nationals.

 I believe the term comes from the fact that a Chevy Impala was a popular vehicle for this, and the animal in the Impala emblem kind of looks like a donkey...

 Bought the 69TA new in Santa Maria, Ca. and raised hell all over the place but in my own home town ( didn't want a bad image ) and got away with everything you could think of. My attitude was" Anything goes--just don't stop, you can slow to a crawl, just keep moving!!" lol
