Were they ever a (Playboy) special edition TA built in the 80-81 Trans Am? A friend says his neighbor has one in the basement with 50,000 miles on it for sale.

I've never heard of a "Playboy" Special Edition T/A,but in one 1980 issue of Playboy,there was a roadtest review of a 1980 Y84 S/E Turbo Trans am.
It featured a double page color spread & some T/A history as well.

FYI; there was NO scantily clad women draped over the car,but GREAT shot,none the less.

Was written by Brock Yates,as I recall,who was the Editor (I think) at the time of Car Driver magazine.

I'm sure I have a copy here in the library.
I'll post some pics if I can lay my hands on it.
