From years ago(85) guards red over black with 3 shades of silver all the way around. Having lived in Europe with the car from 81-84 I was kind of inspired by some of the paint schemes I had seen on the saloon cars that raced at the time.

Damn, I'm Impressed that someone else here still owns one of these also!

Is it a 2 or 4 bbl car?

Mike,
Its a 4bbl.I have a 4.1l on the stand I am building slowly for when I get back to working on it. It also has black interior. It's kinda like it was early for the all black era of the GN's.

Mine's a 78 2 bbl car. It's one of the best handling cars I've ever owned. I really need to finish mine. It's blue on blue, a low option car, Turbo,A/C, Rally wheels and posi are the options. Front and rear sway bars but I think that was part of the sport coupe pkg.

I've seen a total of ONE other 78-80 regal with a black interior and it was also a S/C.

They're very under appreciated cars That were ahead of their time.

Mike

Mine was a 2-bbl car too, but I really liked that car. Black with black landau roof & red interior. Red pinstripe. Chrome Buick rallys. Tons of options.

The 2bbl Turbos were the rare ones, they built about 2500 of them in 3 yrs of production. Mine ran a LOT better on the low end than the 4bbl versions did.

Here's another for you. No side body trim installed when the picture was taken.
