Only use gas if you want to kill your bushes along with the bees. I made this mistake a few years ago and killed a bush that was next to where the nest was. It took two years to kill it. Started to turn brown from the top down.

Well I poured about 16oz's of kerosene down the hole two nights ago, I left the bottle up ended in the hole. I checked the hole yesterday and there were some bee's flying around the hole. Just went out to check today. There are still a few (very few) bee's flying around where the hole is. I guess it's working? And my grass needs cut again already, crap. Guess I'll wait one more day to see what happens.
