Hope the flyer comes thru all right.
It didn't - I'll try again.
Can't seem to fix it.
Go to Test and Tune forum and look for "test" by 66bonne.

John - that's it. I'm not very computer literate; guess they I saved the flyer as a text only file [?].
But as much as anything just wanted to get the word out.

Thanks, Jim

BOPC reps need to stand by the entry gate and make sure this will truly be a BOPC powered event.

I'd be interested in making a trip to the sunshine state if I knew that I'd get a fair number of runs to make it worth my trip.Be nice to extend my race season!

I know this will cause an uproar; but why not let chevy's in so you can have a respectable field of cars racing, (more than 6 S.Pro) and of course a nice purse.
If you let miatas do test and tune why not let chevys race?

Superstock will be running? How many of those are Pontiac powered?

Since I want to Race I WONT be there.

Mike - although I will be going I don't know that I would encourage anyone from out of state to make the trip. P-Dude and others make a good point. The "BOPC" event has been expanded to the point that "BOPC" has actually taken a back seat to all the other classes of racers that have been brought in.

I talked to Alverez after the meet last year. I did not get the impression that the event would make many [if any] changes this year.
Having the open TNT was a ball buster. I watched a red 70s Vette make many passes while the BOP crowd waited and waited.
Still going to give it a shot.
Jim

How about - Instead of calling it a "BOPC Race" calling it "The end of the year PY Forum social event"?

I like this idea. Sounds like a good opportunity to drink beer with friends and tell lies about how fast we could go if we could only get on the track !!

BUMP! for an awesome event. I just come across a picture of Fernando's GSX. Fernando puts on this shindig every year and its a great turnout.

Yea, last year was a circus but a lot of that was due to poor organization, imho. I can see the 'need' to allow other cars because of the costs involved in putting on the event, but there needs to be a priority given to BOPC cars before all the other makes get their runs. Why can't the first 2 qualifying sessions be limited to BOPC cars? The guy with the Chevy, or whatever, who only came out to test n tune should not be ahead of our guys. Hopefully some changes will be in place. Curtis and I will be there but it is easy for us since we are in G'ville.
