Legal question for the legal beagles
I.
Hey all, I have a 'friend' who has a trust fund. The person holding onto it has been dipping their bill and hasen't been forthright, honest and helpful. What court would you use to take the trust holder to: Federal, district? The amount is in the 10 thousands so no small claims court. Any suggestions? II. The FBI has confiscated property from the same person (monies and valuables), and which court is used for taking the FBI to court? (yes the FBI) Any suggestions would be helpful and when made through, lucritive.

I would call laywer who's NOT local to the area but is in the same state where the trust is being held to avoid the buddy system and ask their advice. Then ask them if they're interested in ataking the case on.

Best advice myself, or anyone here could possibly give you, is to talk to a lawyer. Attorneys will often give free consultations, or a consultation for a nominal fee to see if you have a case.

Whether it's attorney or states attorney I would go with who ever can freeze the account and freeze the assets of the trustee the fastest.
