RIP

I guess my wife has an opening on her "celebrity list" now.

Red Dawn was my first rated R movie, my older sister snuck me in with her friends when I was about 14 or so.

He seemed like one of the few good Hollywood people.

I'm glad he's not suffering anymore.

For those that do not know this, there will be a remake of RED DAWN coming out next year with Tom Cruise among other actors. The movie people were shooting scenes for the movie, in Michigan, right down the street from my house at a very large Catholic School football field, (the school closed a couple of years ago).

So RED DAWN will live again. This time it is War against the Russians and the Chinese instead of the Russians and the Mexicans.

ps There really would not be a war, BO would surrender before there was a real war with those guys.

Is Hollywood totally devoid of original ideas that they have resorted to remaking everything?

In my mind he made several good movies. Wife liked "Dirty Dancing", one her all time favorites. Part of it was shot here in NC at Lake Lure. I preferred "Point Break".
