dash lights with no place to go
I'm trying to button up the wiring on my 62, and I have three wires with bulb sockets on them and have no place for them to go. They are in the dash harness (new from M&H), there is a black wire, a dark blue wire, and a tan wire. All of them have light bulb sockets on the ends and I don't know where to plug them in. I have a color schematic and it does not show these wires. I started the car and turned and pulled every knob and they never came on. Any ideas??

I see single wire dark blue for right turn. Single wire black for lighted ignition switch. Still not seeing a single wire tan.
Being single wire, they will have to be grounded to work.  (that was just in case  )See if this diagram has anything different than yours.

I have the one for the right turn signal. I put a gray wire to the ignition light , but I WILL replace it with the black, as I am short one gray wire light for the instrument cluster. I'll check the other blue to see if it works with the turn signal also.

Diagram shows it, but, ground the black and make sure it comes on with the lights before swapping.
If it was newer, I'd say tan was e-brake, brake failure light, or maybe low fluid. IDK Just have to try them.
