I was told to look out when buying the Ferd relay. Make sure it says "made in USA". All the ones at the parts stores were made in China. Prone to fail!
BTW, this got me thinking, on the 'how to' link above, does it matter if A and C are swapped?

It shouldn't.
The purple wire provides the 12 volts to pull the windings in. Then both A and C are connected.
