Hey Tom, I think it was Ram Air, 4 spd, not Ram Air 4, LOL!
![]() I don't know what it's worth, but it sure sounds nice. Pontiacmuscle, is it a non R.A., R.A. or an actual working R.A., R.A. ![]() I used to own a non R.A., R.A. 69 Firebird. (in case you thought i was joking) |

You sound kind of anxious, only 22 minutes after your first post.
![]() Aren't 1st gen Firebird vert values all over the place anyway? There's a low mile '68 vert in AutoTrader listed for $28,000 right now. And it's only a 350/350THM. Has A/C. In Arizona.

People do not seem to be opening their wallets recently for '67 - '69 Firebird 400 convertibles.
Excluding the handful of round ports, there's probably not one that's worth much more than a factory ram air, 4-speed car, though. Condition is key. Matching numbers? Post some pics when you get it...

what's it worth? don't know these days. i will tell you that i renewed my insurance on both cars and they had no problem raising the coverage on my 'bird to $30k (through hagerty). i've got about $35k in the car and could probably sell it for around $23-25k. and even after telling them that, it was no problem to increase the coverage to $30k. we need pics of yours, since condition is a huge factor in price.

22 minutes can seem like an eternity when you're waiting for info on a new purchase.
What are you gonna do about the 'new' Ventura? ![]()

Nothing to do but Paint It Hot Rod Black and Drive It....Converting to a dual master and disc brakes is a priority due to my kids, families safety....I can pick it up anytime.

I'd like to take a guess at what it's worth but what's the condition? Original as in survivor-type condition or needs restoration? I'm going to guesstimate $60k if very nice original and $25ish if it needs restoration.

What am I missing? That's Judge territory nowdays! I've been amazed at just how low the first gen ragtops have been going for. I've seen decent cars needing resto @ $15K or less. Nicer ones @ $20-25k. Nothing selling in the $30s or $40s that I've seen. I'm not that well-versed on these cars, though. Ron
