Stuff... New Stuff and Old Stuff
My best friend and I and probably my only true friend are going to start making stuff before we get too
 . We are both old school manual then turned CNC machinists from the no memory only paper tape day's with controls the size of 3 refigerators. We are going to make stuff that already exits and stuff that doesn't exist yet. But you wish it did!The stuff? Yes its car parts. With the idea of better quality at a affordable competitive price. Starting with the rear caliper brackets for my 67 Tempest (that is almost finished) using front GM calipers (the 72 on up front caliper style) and a pinion E-brake. More to Follow........  This is a short version of the thread that I wanted to post but misteriously got deleted  So what parts do you guys wish existed but don't? |

Body parts are the biggest thing I'd like to see repro'd. care to build some dies?

I can look into it .My large part stamping/sheet metal contacts are limit, but I know enough people where someone will know someone who knows of one that would be interested.
Right now we are looking into custom cylinder heads. We have a request for a Hemi Head for a Ford Pinto and I know of a sand caster locally who made pinto Heads for the SCCA years ago so we are looking into the costs for the one off and a short run of 10 heads. We still have 3 bridgeports( one retrofitted with a 2 axis controler and a small lathe between the two of us0. We can also rent out time on CNC Mills and Lathes by the hour for the heavt 3d milling. Stay Tuned..........

Man there are so many parts I can think of. Stainless trim perhaps, a nice instrument cluster panel for a '66 GTO (maybe even just the face of it), any way you could make tail light housings for that car and the louvers? Repros and originals are extremely expensive. Grilles, maybe headlight bezels, hood scoops, shakers?
Various brackets and conversion parts would be nice too. |

What size kleenex box ? Have to pick a size that will be around for a few years.
The Bexel or the housing? The housings could me done fairly easily I would think, I think they are plastic Well we could make custom dash's out of soild plate for those with deep pockets. The Oringinal is made from abs I believe I I know a few vacuum formers and I know there is some cheep mold material available now but can't get oo many pulls on it before it deteriorates. Managed to fabricate a shifter mount bracket for Saginaw 3 and4 speeds over the weekend. My son's tranny took a crap and the free saginaw did not have the 3 bosses cast into the tail shaft, so there was no where to mount the shifter on this particular transmisson. It mounts to the tail shaft bolts and also to the end of the tail shaft with a split clamp. 6061-T6 aluminum construction screwed together with allen heads. Available in clear and anodized colors. Splash multicolored and graphic anodizing available for an extra charge. Transmission adapter plates from anymake/model to anymake/model ..... just ask |

The metal front valance lower baffle for 67,68 and 69 (different) Firebirds...currently only fiberglass available as a repop....

The Stuff if possible will be machined from 6061 aluminum and 356 for cast. some titanium goodies even tiodized if you want them. Still working on the rear brake caliper brackets for std front A Body calipers.

not like that..... the piece covers the void between the valance panel and the radiator support. difficult to find and the aftermarket Fiberglass ones aren't even good templates
