Yep, I too have noticed a huge surge in from the Liberal media during the past week reminding people about how we (humans) ruined the planet. You have to remember, the Climate Change fear mongers have a HUGE vested interest in this deal, to the tune of trillions of dollars, so now that they received a big black eye this past week, they have to come out swinging.

It's like when a televangelist is exposed by the media, found to have a mistress on the side, a 5 million dollar mansion, and a private jet, all paid for by the brain dead fanatics that write checks to relieve their guilt. Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, John Edwards, etc. Some people simply won't admit they were fooled.

The worst part about this mess is how rich Al Gore has become. Using his tactics, he swindled $550 million of the taxpayers money to build his own car company in Europe, and a trillion + dollars have gone to wasted projects.

as they say "no news is good news"...notice the abscense of news about the flawed info....no mention of it in most media.....

"keep it quiet, people wont know, and we`ll get this passed before they know what hit them!" more taxes...more taxes...

The climate change summit started today.

According to the news, so many delegates are flying private jets in , that they can't park all of them in Denmark. Some will have to be flown to neighboring countries to park.

Also on the news, the delegates will require 1200 limosines. Denmark doesn not have 1200 limosines...they are shipping ones in from Germany, France, etc. to take up the slack.

And these hypocrites will sit around and cluck about us evil people from big countries burning fossil fuel. I sure don't have any tolerance for hypocrites.

The summit has 2 stated goals. 1) discuss how to limit CO2 2) discuss how developed countries (read the USA) need to pay $$ to underpriveliged countries to punish us for years of success. I think the UN agenda is primarily focused on #2, but #1 is the magician's sleight-of-hand.

40,000 tons of carbon will be spewed getting this crowd together and keeping them in comfort. That is the daily amount of carbon dioxide produced by 30 of the world's smaller countries!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/decade_s_end_climate

Here is the latest AP story of gloom and doom. It is very long and does not mention anything about the managing of the data to make the point. Below are the last two paragraphs. There is an obvious media push tied into the UN meetings this week.

"Before the turn of the last century, with slide rule, pencil and months of tedious calculation, Svante Arrhenius was the first to show that carbon dioxide would warm the planet — in 3,000 years. The brilliant Swede hadn't foreseen the 20th-century explosion in use of fossil fuels.

Today their supercomputers tell his scientific heirs a much more urgent story: To halt and reverse that explosion of emissions, to head off a planetary climate crisis, the 10 years that dawn this Jan. 1 will be the fateful years, the final chance, the last decade."

Maybe 'warm november' is slanted too ;-)

Ive lived in Md for 43 years. My memories of Dec go back to Christmas days with temps
of 70-72 deg - top down weather!

We dont usually get snow till Feb (the earliest and worst I remember was Feb 19, 1979)
and mostly not till early Mar. Ahhh but Im getting old possibly senile, my memory must be
failing!!

To have snow Sat Dec 5 that has remained for two days (and promises to hang around for
several more), is really strange.

Amen. I see Ed Baggely and others in the entertainment industry touting their green lifestyles, but they never really mention the carbon footprint that their industry generates. Think about the hundreds of people involved in making a movie and building temporary movie sets, and all of the energy wasted flying those folks to and from remote sets etc. Then when they get to the point of showing the movie, what does that entail. Millions of people driving their mopeds, cars and SUV's to the large air conditioned theaters. Then those movies are brought out on video, and off to the video stores the folks go driving to rent the movies etc. TV shows are a smaller scale but you have production crews along using energy to produce the shows etc. Then you put it out on transmitters that consume a gazzillion watts beaming the show via the airwaves or satellites etc, so that it eventually winds up on your TV generating heat which requires additional AC to compensate for it. The hypocracy reaks in the entertainment industry that is great about telling the rest of us how we should live. And it is an industry that one could argue could disappear and the world could go on just fine without it, like it did 100 years ago.
