Default 69 GTO YS Code engine

I don't really want to sell this, but if someone has the body for my engine, I would like to see them reunited and help out a fellow PY'er.

I have the above block with crank and matching date code 62 heads (complete.) No pistons, rods or cam. Block has not been magged, but a visual inspection shows that it is in good shape. 1 small scratch in it means it will need to be bored prior to use. .030 over should do it. It currently is standard bore.

The last 3 digits of the VIN are 849. If this might match your car, let me know. Price is $1000 or will trade for a complete 400 that I can drop in my '69 Bird.

Default Still have it

I still have the YS block and matching 62 heads. If you need it, PM me your serial number and I'll match it to the block to see if we can put your car back to original.

Good luck!

Default 69 YS engine

All:

I still have this engine and have decided to go a different way. So, if anyone could use a block with a B189 date code along with a pair of complete 62 heads of about the same date, I would turn loose of it all. The sale would include the crank and if you are interested, I could throw in a set of slightly used cast .030 over pistons. They have the 4 brow valve reliefs.

$700 and it is all yours. Pickup is preferred but I might be able to work out delivery or shipping.

Default .030 over pistons update

All:

I looked at the pistons and found they are actually the all-purpose 8 brow style. I did not want to mislead anyone, so please take that into consideration.

On the plus side, I have the matching date code Q-jet intake manifold that can be included in the sale.

Somebody out there needs this engine!

Default Shipping?

I might be able to palletize this if you were to make the arrangements for a collect shipment. I am sure you know that these are pretty heavy; I would have to guess around 500 lbs. It would be picked up from a business with truck docks in the 41042 zip if you wish to look into it.

Let me know.
