I put a turbo on my car 4 years ago.
Year one I chased overheated oil issues.
Year 2 was pretty good, a bunch of 18 PSI fun.
Year 3 with a new short block and up to 20.5 psi boost was fun till I melted 3 pistons.
Year 4 was a short season, a new set of pistons and then one more melted piston.
Next year will be the year it all comes together. Plan to get all the data recording stuff hooked up and sort this out.

I have over 40K miles on my Roots blown street car in three trouble free years. There were a few things to learn the hard way in the beginning, but driving a blown Pontiac every single day is suprisingly easy.

I do all my own work...but that doesn't make me any smarter than the next guy...
