Default Supercharger - which Cometic Head Gasket?

I am getting ready to pull my E-heads off my blower car to switch to a cometic gasket as I am going to up the boost and still have the old Fel-pro 1016's on it. I need to know what gasket would be recommended for a 462 with ~ 15 lbs or so of boost?

69,

Any of their MLS will do. I've run them with 27# of boost.

I've been running Edelbrock head gaskets at boost levels up to 18psi without any trouble. My personal opinion is:
Good head bolts or studs(I'm using ARP studs) and a good tune(no detonation) is much more critical than the head gasket. Detonate the engine and any gasket will blow. If it doesn't then the pistons will.

I've tried a couple different head gaskets and by far Cometics have stood up to the abuse I've put them through.

I use ARP studs as well. With only 10 head bolts we are at a major disadvantage, just like the SBF guys. I don't care what your tune is...from the data that I have anything over 24lbs of boost and you are going to go through head gaskets. Head gaskets are like a routine maintenance deal (change my oil...change my head gaskets LOL)...it's just a fact of life.

I'll take your word on that as I sure don't run as hard as you.
I used to run Cometics as well but didn't like the way they over hung the cyl. head chambers when I went to KRE heads. Thought I'd try the Edlbrocks as they were available locally to me and priced right. So far they have been fine 2 seasons on them so far.
