Default Hi flo metalic vs normal ceramic catalytic converter?

Greetings All,

Searched the exhaust forums but did not find an answer.

Whats the diff between the "hi-flo" Metallic substrate catalytic converters and the
standard ceramic substrate?

I have a Pypes 2.5" X-pipe system I will be installing soon. I am putting dual cats on it
and I just want to know if it worth the extra expense to use the hi-flo metallic substrate.

The old system is a 2.25" H-pipe with dual cermic substrate cats.

Are hi flo cats any use on a street only car?
