Good afternoon guys. Been a long time since I was here and after having a custom radiator made for the 63 lemans which has a .040 over 326, had to report the findings. I supplied a sketch of the radiator with all measurements and they worked from that. As you know, the radiator in this car is not easy to find a replacement for that actually fits. In this case, we removed the bottom support brackets, made new ones and bolted her in. What a difference. I can now drive miles before needing to even turn the fans on and that's saying something. On the highway, doing about 70, I can leave the fans off and it will stay at 170. With the stock radiator, I couldn't make it six miles before reaching 210. We are at 6000' elevation and let me tell you that's no picinic when the compounding fact of 20% humidity is factored in. Without the humidity, it's harder to cool the motor as water takes away far more heat than air. And quicker...

The company is wizard cooling. They can be found at
www.wizardcooling.com. I dealt with Cory and it was definitely worth the money. Ordering another radiator from them now for a bel air. In this case, I got what I paid for- a one-off custom radiator that made a huge difference.
