Default Help!

My glove box lock retainer/nut are stripped out. I was working on the car last week and the lock just popped out and fell to the ground. the nut just keeps spinning in the retainer and doesn't catch on any of the threads. So what are my options guys? I figured I can just glue the retainer/nut together, but I really don't want to do that. I also have seen some NOS on ebay but those are pretty pricey.

Maybe try a few wraps of teflon tape around the retainer. If there is a bit of the threads still there it might grab and hold.

I tried the teflon tape and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion!
