Someone is trying to pull a fast one. WRONG color scheme for a 1970 Hurst GP, wrong wheels, wrong wheel centers, NO Hurst shifter. In other words, it's an $8,000 base Grand Prix that someone is trying to pass off as a 1970 Hurst GP (272 were produced).

I posted it here because I've never thought of this thread strictly in terms of the ridiculous but also the sublime...( I know that's not what the original poster had in mind). Feel free to copy it to the GP forums. I love the car myself, even the custom paint job.

That nose treatment is weird, but we've witnessed lots worse in the last couple years.
Grill looks like a late 70's chevy monza or a '77 Ventura.

The engine is "deformed" too lol. Small block Chevrolet does nothing for these cars IMO. It is "smog ready" though.

The GP is COOL! If it's Hurst equipped how does that shifter work? Is it one of those you push down to lock in so it will only go 1st-3rd like the dual gate except without the extra gate?

Looks like the factory ratcheting shifter to me...The one that locks in each position when pushed to the right.

The seller never said it was a Hurst Edition. That was my error, I should have never mentioned it. The thing just had a custom paint job and an aftermarket Hurst sticker on it. I was the only one that mentioned it.

Question, Rich: Then WHY use the SAME colors as the Hurst GP IF he wasn't trying to deceive?
