It just amazes me people can't actually read the badges on the car, or the writing on the title.

What are you talking about? It clearly says right on the badges- Gran Deville. Not to be confused with the much more common, and less valuable, Grand Ville.

A VERY expensive Bonneville

I came across this on Ebay the other day. I like those '59s, but I'm not sure there's anybody that loves them this much.

This doesn't seem like a bad deal for someone looking for a project:

On the note of good projects. This one almost seems too good for the price. Makes me wonder what Im missing for a 57 coupe.

Price almost seems too nice. I almost think he is using pictures that arent his car. Says it needs new floorpans but you can see carpet still in it on the corners of the photos.

I was thinking of calling the dude. But then my house got robbed yesterday, and now I have more important **** to deal with

You can never know until you check it out. Guy says he bought it as salvage, he may have gotten it for a couple of hundred dollars and just wants to break even on what he's got into it. May have seen the floors from underneath.

I agree with Greg...but something odd is going on here w this ad. I went back to the link BC I was going to post the pic I noticed that showed the car with the side trim removed (IIRC it's on the trailer?) and those pix are no longer showing on the same ad.

So...is this a simple matter of seller revision of the ad, or a cloned ad?

I noticed too that only two pics are showing now. Can't think of any reason why they would be removed though. I mean, what would be gained by removing the photos even if it's a scam?
