I had one of those, but it was a '53. The previous owner used it to tow a race car. Had a lot of custom woodwork in the interior that rotted badly.

Last year I was at the landfill to drop off some trash. A couple guys in an old hearse pulled in and backed up to the bin. Everyone stopped and looked over to see just what they were throwing out when he opened that rear door.

gotta love the dual sidemounts , wheel covers only, recessed wheel cover in trunk, and continenntial kit and none of the above match the wheels on the car. I sure that 4 cyl pulls it along really well.

Everything is original, even the motor. It looks like sort of Mitsubishi motor and if you know about these motors. I'm sure they can go over 300,000 .

If I know anything about those motors, they didn't have half the longevity of a Buick 3800.

Ain't that the truth. They either leak out the seals like a stuck pig or wear the rings out. The pre mid-90s all had an early to the junkyard reputation.

We bought my wife a used Plymouth Voyager with that engine back in the mid 90s. She killed practically every mosquito in the county.

I believe when they spec'd out rings and bearings for those engines they went with lead.
