Shouldn't be too hard to find a better car than the one in the ad. There a literally millions of these things out there in the $3000- to $4000 range... well, maybe not millions but a bunch.
If I see anything that looks good, I'll let you know David.

I can vouch for the Subarus also. My son has an '05 that he bought in San Diego 5 years ago. Been his daily driver since and he drove it all the way back to Georgia when he got out of the Navy. Not a hiccup.

Default Anyone looking for a '72 RAIV?

As the ad states, it's rare.

I saw that ad and chuckled. Apparently, the seller doesn't know the difference between an RAIV and a 455HO

Isn't that the way it is supposed to be? I always thought that the workshop garage should be larger than the house.

I grew up about 2 miles from this guy (on the "bad" side of the river though). Funny it was listed on the Janesville site, not Chicago. He must not be getting any local action. If it were a few years older,I'd say it probably was been at Skip's Fiesta often, and had seen it's share of races up and down North Ave.

I'd drive it though!

It's kinda cool in a throwback sort of way. I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for it though.

Oh god no- the car would have to be a good value but it definitely references a specific time in history

No,I wouldn't either,not worth that much $$.
When I hear the term "time capsule",I think original though.
