4-spd B-Body Convert...looks pretty do-able for the ambitious with skills and maybe some donor parts....Realistic buy-in if he'll negotiate down a bit and pretty honest description. Underside pics would really help.

That looks almost identical to the one at my dads- except we had his 64 running a couple years ago.

Actually, the curvature of that front clip and doors fits the bed radius surprisingly well. I'd hate to see anyone duplicate those artistic renderings though..

That's the first time I've seen a master cylinder and booster painted Pontiac blue.

Don't believe I've ever seen a Pontiac with a Buick engine before. "Big Block 455" Buick at that.

I remember a couple of 60's tempests with Buick engines back in the day, usually replaced the 326 with the 425 from grand ma's 225.

At least that is a Big block 455. So the seller is correct.

Not referring to the above add, or any other posted. But, I get a kick out of the cars listed for sale that are clearly, grossly overpriced & then it says "must sell"

What? Many delusional people out there.....

Actually, that'd be a very nice car if not for that hood. Not $28K nice but nice.

You just don't see many factory black first gen Firebirds and with gauges, could be something special or at least a 400.

Only in Maine!

https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/6185214607.html

1965 Pontiac GTO 2 Door post car. 1 of 8,319 2 Door post cars made! This one originally came with a 389ci. motor in Teal Turquoise with Black bucket seat, 4 speed interior. Original door panels and back seat Car was turned into a Mud bogger / racer years ago on a Custom Ford 4 X 4 chassis with all ford running gear known as "The Mountain GOAT". I was going to restore the surprisingly solid bodied GTO to original, but my dads old hot rod came up for sale that I want to pursue. Car is a great builder and complete! However, needs a full restoration and or can leave as is with your Ford motor. Great car to make a Drag car, Race car, Hot Rod, Gasser, Pro Street, Pro Touring, Muscle car, etc. Not a Chevelle, Camaro, Olds 442, Nova, Mustang, Corvette, Buick GS, Z/28, Super Sport, etc. Bring a winch trailer and lets make a deal! I need room! Comes with a Ford long block currently in car which needs to be rebuilt...Car is currently being stored inside and out of the elements. Sold with Bill of Sale / No Title in the State of Maine on older cars. NO TRADES! I DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS! PHONE CALLS ONLY! Please call at 207 - 7 six 8- 39 zero zero.
