And 435,000 miles to boot.
I barely remember the diesel being offered for this platform, and now I wonder if it was a GM manufactured engine or supplied by a foriegn company like Volkswagon.
I wouldn't mind having that car if it was proven to be dead nuts reliable. It would make a nice winter car for 20+ mile commutes.

Over here we called them a Holden Gemini. The Diesel option was available but not commonly taken up by the buyers. Super strong drivelines.
The engines were built by Isuzu out of Japan. Unbreakable engines. The same basic block was used in the petrol versions. In both cases, the achilles heel was electrolysis behind the water pump. It would break through into the timing chain case, water straight into the sump and goodnight if you didn't pull up straight away. Many engines were lost due to poor maintenance by cheapo owners not keeping up with the correct inhibitor.

Very tiny market I would guess...but considering that he's throwing in a running parts car, maybe price is not too out of line...I just don't think many folks would be that interested.

Not one single pic of the front end...guess he feels that the rear custom work is the selling point.

I'm also seeing way too much tera firma in the engine 'compartment'. Seems like you'd want to retain the floors for rigidity. Also looks like he may be using a gerry jug for a fuel tank.

It's a cool concept with a few refinements. I'll give him credit for originality in engine selection.
