Well all the locals want to ****ing go crazy and force me to keep a car i built as a business investment and investment in my future. You ***gots pushed it to the point this will be parted out, crushed and or set on fire. I hate it with every bone in my body. I park it outside at 2am and kick the **** out of it just to set off the alarm for no reason other then to piss off my psychotic neighbors. Save it or dont. I don't give two ****s about this pile of **** now. I'm a week away from crushing it.

Yeah, sounds like he's on drugs or phsycotic.
Doesn't even say what's wrong with it. Must be something major. You'd think he would be just as quick to part out one of the '79s

Actually, Kent. And *that* explains it all.

This looks pretty sketchy to me...

Isn't the paint on top of head exposed to hot oil going to flake off and flow to all parts of the engine?

a 557 thin saddle engine not good for racing. bt

Really all kinds of things wrong with that ad. You covered the paint inside the engine and the thin wall casting. Add to that:

All casting info ground off heads (what are they? They're pre-'74, whatever they are), rusty bolts, grungy bare aluminum, Chevy orange not even applied carefully/thoroughly. No info whatsoever on parts used for rebuild.

Honestly, if you can't be bothered to properly paint a rebuilt engine and choose to use rusty bolts on the outside, how can anything done inside be trusted? This looks like nothing more than a hack job consisting of spare parts thrown together for the purpose of fleecing someone out of some money.

Looks to me like it might be a lot of fun on a farm or in the woods.
