Close call, but also thing it's the same shifter. Looks like the dog leg that appears going to the center of the firewall in the first pic is actually curving towards the far right of the footwell. True angle is hidden in the first but obvious in the second.

Cool car. I had a 2 dr sedan version of this car with the 352 4 barrel auto trans. Got it from an old man who tried to give it to his grandson. He didn't want it! The car was clean, no rust. Engine had bent valves.

According to the auction, the interior color was ordered that way to match another car.

I would say that nobody is going to shell out that kind of money for that car but never say never. After all, somebody here in the area just won over $200M in the lottery. With that kind of money to spend what is $80K?

Wow.... that Cutlass is cool. My first car was a '75 Cutlass S, so I have a soft spot for these.
Agree it feels like about double what the car would go for in a no reserve auction. But who knows.
I'm not a big fan of the color combo, either. And I'm fairly certain the Hurst T-Tops were not a factory option (as the ad says) in 1973.

According to Dennis Casteele's Source book, the Hurst/Hatch was not offered till 1975. I do not know if it was offered on other Cutlass models.

Default Cars lying around

"Haven't been run in a few years". Seems odd. Why not get them running? Both GTO's look pretty nice.

Won't give you a price... or any info, but doesn't want "BS offers".

"Testing for offers,we have a few classics for sale , 65 gto convertible, 65 gto hardtop, 71 vw convertible, 74 vw thing , they are all in dry storage no rust , haven’t run in a few years, but will all run as they are all restored vehicles, no give sways , no b/s offers , see pics"

Lousy pics, can't decide if "seller" is lazy or stupid.

Maybe both.
