Does anyone know the history of this Ram Air IV GTO? Says it's an IV 4:33 car, however no phs is shown. My guess is that someone knows more about this GTO.

Wow, for all the info they post about the fabled RAIV, do you think they'd notice the RA pan is on backwards?!?

That is a D-Port engine in there, is it not? Look at pass side shots and the center port. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that looks like a D-Port configuration to me...

Definitely has several issues, wonder if it's even a genuine IV car. Would like to see the PHS and know more about it.

D - ports and an after market intake. Pile of dog crap would be a good start.

Cars like this make it fun to start listing issues with it, get's feathers ruffled, especially if the owner haunts this forum, but it beats trying to argue politics or religion! -- I'll say that's a first for me ever seeing engine colors (and the wrong color at that) on the brake booster/MC. edit: okay, I'll back pedal a bit on that head maybe. it's a 67/68 8 bolt timing cover on there so that plus the junk intake means "built" motor so I'll bet the RA was long gone. Motor long gone according to desc.(maybe desc. has been updated recently?) Why would you paint the motor and other stuff that color? Torker intake, exhaust tips upside down,,,you'd think by now people would get them right. Car just looks cheaply done.Anyone got an opinion on the gas pedal?

Absolutely a RA 4 car. The blue power brake booster is a dead giveaway! Every RA 4 car I've seen has had that!

Yes, bring a tow truck and car cover with a full wallet and empty head.

The ad says its a RAIV as shown/backed by the PHS docs, original tranny, but not the original 400 engine.

I live about 50 miles from GCC. If I get up that way, I'll check it out.

Ok so its missing the right engine. Its still a RA4, 4 speed. How much to get it back to reasonable, and how much is it worth then? Assuming the body is good.
For a gen RA4 car it doesnt seem to expensive. What would you pay for one that needed a full resto? $20K? |

Buy it like you'd buy a roller and you'll be in it ok.
Looks like a typical car lot resto.
