It's one extreme or the other with those guys isn't it?
I wonder if those skirts fit a wagon...

Have had this car about 12 years. Basically a barn find. Currently updating the suspension. Early 70"s drag suspension has alot to be desired. Goes great in a straight line but God help you if there's a corner at the end of it.

Hello everyone, New member here from central PA. Thought I would jump in and try to post a pic of my girlfriends 65 tempest. Pic is when we found it july 2009. Since then it has been in the garage being fixed up. Floor patches welded in, trunk repaired, rust repaired, tune up, chrome engine accesories, working on the interior, etc... Hope the pic posts,
The car is going to be her everyday driver, 326-2bbl, 2 spd auto, power steering and A/C, bench seat. Just your basic grocery getter. TooLow[Craig] |

Yeah, your speedo needs lubed. I'm having the same problem in my 55 chev. I need to send it out to someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to speedos, and be able to test it. I tried doing it, but I probably didn't use the right stuff or put it all where it needs to go. Boy, some fried clams with tartar sauce sounds really good. I used to love fried clams at Howard Johnson's when I was a kid...Nice convertible 325 lemans. What trans? What have you had to do to it?

I purchased this 1965 GTO from the original owner in Redwood City,California in 2009. The car was built in the Fremont, California plant. It has 98 percent original paint, except around rear window area. Rear window was removed in 1981 because of water leak resealed and paint spotted in. The only other change are the wheels and tires. I have original wheels, bill of sale, original key bob, car manual and car traded in, etc. The original owner purchased this car to tow a boat because owner had a 1961 Ford Falcon Futura, which lacked the power to tow a boat. This car became a family car and never raced.
Through a lot of research, we found out that the color is 1965 Mustang Poppy Red. John DeLorean painted 12 cars this color as a promotional color for Pontiac, which became Hugger Orange in 1968. Thought GTO enthusiasts would be interested in this. |
