This is in response to a question Richard Bush asked about his turn switch/brake light problem...
I don't have a scanner, so I'll have to describe what I see in my book for 1965.
The stoplight switch has a pink wire (hot in accessory and run) And a natural wire from the stop switch to turn switch connector.
The turn connector has 8 slots.
Starting at one side and running to the other the colors are:
Dark Green, Yellow, Dark Blue, Natural, Light Blue, Purple, Black, Gray.

Dark Green connects to the right rear stop/turn lamp socket.

Yellow connects to the left rear stop/turn lamp socket.

Dark Blue has 2 wires leaving the turn switch connector. 1 connects to 1 terminal of the turn indicator pilot bulb socket. 1 connects to the right front turn lamp socket.

Natural wire connects to the stop switch connector.

Light Blue also has 2 wires leaving the turn switch connector. 1 connects to the other terminal of the turn indicator pilot lamp socket. 1 connects to the left front turn lamp socket.

Purple connects to one terminal of the turn flasher.

Black connects to the horn relay.

Gray connects to the instrument panel lamp circuit to provide a lamp in the shift indicator on column shift automatic equipped cars.

To help a bit, here's what I'd expect to see when testing the wiring. I like using a 12V test light with an alligator clip connected to ground and a probe tip that will light up the light when it hits a hot circuit.
These tests are assuming the ignition switch is turned on.

Brake pedal pressed, turn lever in the middle, the Natural, Dark Green and Yellow wires should all light the test light.
No brake pedal depressed, turn switch to left, the Purple, Yellow, and Light Blue wires should light the test light on and off in sync with the flasher.
No brake pedal depressed, turn switch to right, the Purple, Dark Green, and Dark Blue wires should light the test light on and off in sync with the flasher.
Brake pedal pressed, turn switch to left, The Natural & Dark Green wires should light the test light solid, & the Purple, Light Blue & Yellow wires should flash the test light.
Brake pedal pressed, turn switch to right, the Natural and Yellow wires should light the test light solid, & the Purple, Dark Green & Dark Blue wires should flash the test light.
