Been a while since I posted. We have a local Vo-Tech College that has a Photography class. A couple of the students have been using my car as a subject for the class. Here are some of the first photos that have come back.
This one is at a local park:  This one is a a local 60's diner:  I'll post the others as the come in to me. This is at the Dairy Queen store that I owned for 23 years:

Looks AWESOME!!!!!!
When are we going to see the rear slicks putting some rubber on the pavement? I would love to see a vid of it driving down the road, maybe a shot coming at the camera, in front, than going away (I guess that is called a drive-by). You did a beautiful job with that car in a very short time, way to go!!!!!! Mark

Jerry,If you can I would like a copy of the tow tabs template.I can PM my e-mail.Also I might use the Moog 5272 coil springs to raise the front.Do you know the height from the floor to the front fender lip measured in the center of the wheel opening?Thanks.

I'm of the opinion all 65 teal turquoise gto's should be drag strip tribute cars. Just got this one out of the paint booth. My painter finished the back half of the car last week. He did the hood, fenders and other front end sheet metal last summer when I had to get a Lemans hood for the 6x2 carbs. I stuck a big pont/olds spool rear under it with those railroad ladder bars. It's from an early-mid sixties drag car from socal.

Thanks Jerry. It was a lot of work but worth it in the end. Still a few items to work on but I'm very happy with it. May try to take it to the Pigeon Forge show in June or the Hot Rod reunion at Bowling Green. Will you be at any of those?

That is a pretty freakin sweet ride you got there. I love the front end up like that without having the straight axle. How did you get it up the high? My car also is Teal Turquoise, and I think your right, they look great as NSS cars. Looking to do the same to mine eventually just trying to figure out a scheme that looks old school, but not cloning someones ride. Mark

The springs were sold to me as extra tall ones for a chevy big block. I don't have a clue about who made them or part #'s. I have a couple of spring spacers in between the coils on each side also. I also used some ball joint spacers from a guy on ebay, but they had the wrong angle cut on them. I took 'em to a machine shop and they cut the correct angle on 'em so now the upper ball joint is pointed straight down instead of at a dangerous cocked angle. I told the guy on ebay that his spacers put the upper ball joint at severe angle but he said nobody else complained. Just beware. Jerry might have other ideas because his car has some air between the front tire and fender also.

I think 65's just 'beg' to sit high.I want to raise mine a few inches but keep it level.Those slicks are pretty neat too.

Slicks are 9" from Towel City. Very heavy. Just for show.
