I recently replaced the aftermarket carb with a Quadrajet on my 70 GTO. After realizing the carb lacked a throttle linkage bracket, I ordered it along with a fuel line from PY. So, I put the bracket on and when I attempt to attach the throttle cable it's not long enough. Is there an adjustment I am not seeing or do I just have the wrong cable? Here are some pics. Thanks.

You can order the Edelbrock P/N 8015 adapter for your manifold if you like, or else maybe you have enough room to slot the bracket mounting holes so you can slide the bracket forward some....

thats such a nuisance on the edelbrocks.... had you kept it anyway and got the throttle cable bracket adaptor you would've been in store for some cutting and bending of your factory throttle cable bracket.

Head over to www.precisionspecialists.com and click on the Quadra-Jet link. They have a new product that solves all
q-Jet cable issues. It mounts to the back carburetor studs and holds your cable position.
