It's actually a heating element that goes in the side of the block in place of the center freeze plug on the drivers side. It has a cord that plugs into it, which I don't have, that also plugs into your standard 110v wall outlet. Pretty simple. My car was driven in Minnesota for the first ten years of it's life so it may have been used quite a bit.

Yes, except mine is made of solid brass and is in the center plug location.

Wow nothing like a personal slam so your saying because i had no intention off selling this car and wanted a 4 speed and could easily reinstall a small plate 5x8 that i don't know diddlysquat ,I have owned trans ams for 34 years what makes you the "expert " . p.s body is not rusted quarters damaged due to large tires,this car was used not trailered

Makes sense, I wasn't sure what that was - block came from Calgary, car was built at Pontiac plant.

It takes a big mouth to fit a size 12 into! I'm with Lloyd and just sitting back to enjoy the upcoming fireworks.

FTR: The repair is no big deal and could be made invisible by a good metal guy. And I've met diddly squat and he's not a bad guy!

Its original only once and ever car has issues if you look hard enough. Taken a high dollar car and modify it in todays day and age is not a good economic decision (IMO).

I almost actually did it to my auto car since I always wanted a 4-speed driver just didnt want to take the hit. Kidoddles to you !

Look I'm not trying to pick fights over this I bought the car a long time ago and converted it, It wasn't all that high dollar of a car at the time,All i ask is if you don't know me or the car don't judge and i know everyone is entitled to comment, so everyone can stand down no fireworks and pop corn will make you fat

The engine block heater is not installed in the engine but I have it nos still in GM box

I like your car and even thought about bidding, but I'll need to sell my trailer queen before anything like that happens. I actually just posted it in Hemmings with the option of the pair.

Joe has a good source of real buyers,the car is always safe there and we always agree on pricing that's fair to all involved ,I don't have the time to deal with tire kickers,he has sold my SD formula,and my 69 T/A In the past years I guess I'm comfortable with this and it's not like i didn't post it here first was looking for offers,,I HEARD NOTHING

Probable a good move putting it with him. He does seem to get top dollar for his cars. However you did get a trade offer for a nice 72 HO.
