You are getting there John. Nice light.

Impressive for an Naturally Aspirated car at your weight.

Performance so far should give you a good chance at the events if you get some good air and a few breaks.

Clean, professional looking launch&pass. Butt, what makes the car swagger just before brake release?

On the launch? (or just before)

The tranny brake button is pushed and it's like the car is in neutral.
(no preload on suspension)

Wow that is very quick! Isn't that super competitive in Prostock? I have not seen your car in the last NMCA race, are you racing this season or did I miss something? Awesome car.

There is an oscillation side-side (when the motor goes up against the converter, just before launch. Could there be a -.05 reward just to tame that?

It looks to me that the car "swaggers" just after he goes to WOT. I'm guessing that 1100+ hp might make the car do that.

I am curious about something. Does the class you race in still not allow wheelie bars? If not, was the car set up the same way during this test run (the same way you would run without bars)? Also, is the tuning to keep the car from going on the bumper done with the chassis alone? Or is the engine/trans tune changed as well? And my last "newb" question, what do you think is the difference in e.t. between the two setups?

The car never touched the bars on that pass. The chaulk is still on the wheels. The only guess I would have that the car vibrating would be some harmonic vibration from being on the 2-step. There was some wheel sping from around .80 to 1.4 seconds but not excessive, it maybe scrubbed around .05 tops to the 60'. There was no point to make another hit with the head wind we had so we loaded up.
