i'm parting this out for a demo car. its a clean car. seats need redone. interior looks good. has a 75 pontiac 350 motor i'm selling as a core 200$. front bumper filler has hole cracked in it on passenger side. about 4 inches or so. selling front bumper too. if ur looking for anything ask i'll tell ya if im keepin it for the demo. i'm not asking top dollar for this stuff just trying to make the 450$ back that i paid for the car. so hopefully someone will get some good deals.



this is the non A/C option i was told people liked..


the rest of the interior looks that white. just couldn't get an all encompassing view.

How nice are the headlight knob, radio knobs and lighter?

I'll have to check for sure, but I may also be interested in that rear "Pontiac" emblem if it fits the A bodies, and if it is nice.

the knob pushes down in the floor. if you look down in the pics of the dash you should be able to see all the things you're asking about. its about the 4th or 5th picture. i wouldn't be able to start stripping the car until end of april beginning of may due to school. is this something u need right away? i live an hour or so away from the car.

I am interested in all of the parts I previously mentioned including the rear Pontiac emblem pending condition and price. I am only interested in the stuff if it is in really nice to excellent condition..... for example no pitting, scratches, etc. Also, The sooner the better. Thanks.

i'll keep you posted. i'll be there this weekend. hopefully i can get pics. just to make sure you're looking for the headlight knob on the floor and the cigarette lighter knob.. besides pitting/scratches is there anything else to look for? we might have different definitions of very good/excellent. now that school is down to the wire 2 weeks left, i won't be stripping it out til may 8th weekend.

Does the car have a power trunk release? ( look in glove box)
The wiper switch looks same as F body, so save/sell it/
The wiper motor, hidden wiper may be worth selling as parts may fit other models.
If the Radio works, I would be interested, if complete with knobs, if they are not sold.
the plastic shoulder strap holders are worth carefully removing, selling, as well as the dated seatbelts and bolts.

would the power trunk release be a button or something? let me know what to look for and i'll check this weekend. as far as the radio knobs there is a guy asking about them from this post, but i'd rather sell the radio as a whole if possible, first come first serve best offer. so shoot me an offer on them. not looking to give stuff away, but not looking for top dollar either..just so both of us are happy.

I am not looking for the dimmer switch on the floor. I am inquiring about the headlight switch knob on the left side of the instrument cluster on the dash attached to the headlight switch.

I was also inquring about the cigarette lighter, the radio knobs, and the pontiac emblem on the trunklid. In regards to the condition, I am pretty fussy, so if there is any chrome peeling on the interior knobs, or major wear on the aluminum inserts of the knobs, I will not be interested. As for the pontiac emblem on the trunklid, I have no problem with repainting the satin black areas of the emblem, but I do not want any pitting on the brushed metal finish of the letters.

so i checked out the car this weekend this is what i found.

no power trunk release..already taken out..

not sure if radio works yet, but it's AM. the knobs are clean no aluminum or chrome peeling. just needs shined up a little.

pontiac emblem on the back looks good. no pitting or pealing or scratches.. just need to know how to get it off in one piece without breaking anything.

headlight knobs don't have peeling, but the light switch looks like there is black grease in some areas that just needs washed off. cigarette lighter might have same grease, but if not it just needs shined up..

other emblems have pitting. and stuff.

seat belts are shiney and black....

the rear bumper did have a rust hole on passenger side 1 inch diameter about.


my plan is to get over there on may 8th weekend. not sure how far i'll get though.

The rear emblem is easily removed by carefully prying it from the trunk lid with a heavy duty putty knife, or gasket scraper.

Before you go to all of the trouble of removing those parts, give me a quote. Also, I would like closeup photos of the parts to see if they are good enough..

so i started stripping the car this weekend. the radio doesn't work. there are two cracks in the dash on top probably from expanding contrasting in the heat. the back pontiac emblem was broken when it was taken off. however it didn't break at where it attaches in the hole of the car. let me still know if you want it. also got the 2 catalina emblems off without breaking them. i took off the piece of white fabric on the interior with out ripping it. it still has the metal rods and plastic pieces that go in the ceilling. i took out the complete trunk locking system so i have that available if someone wants to buy it. the lights are off, but the wiring is still in the car cause i haven't gotten that far yet. haven't touched the dash yet. i took off all chrome/aluminum trim and all the trim from interior. thats good. i have the speakers and plastic boxes that go with it out too. all the seat belts are black and have the gold bolts with the torx bit required...didn't have torx bolt, but their still in there. got the shoulder belts out though..with bolts. the bumper and grill are off too. the grill doesn't have any cracks in it and the color looks good. the front bumper is soild. the lower piecs of the bumper did have some chrome peeling off on the inside of the underneath of the bumper piece, but can't see it from the outside. anyone interested in any front end pieces? i have the sun visors removed to if anyone is interested. they're sharp looking. the back seats are out too, but probably only good for a pattern. the foam is dry rotteed and the seat upholstery is fibery and cracked. those are for sale too. the motor turns over, but there was an empty gas tank and the points distributor wasn't making a spark.

anyone know how much all 6 pieces of glass would be worth together and per piece? there aren't any scratches or cracks in it. also let me know if you're interested in anything else. or give me an idea for a fair price on items i have listed if you might know.

p.s. i'll be getting pictures of some items this week, but some is still where the car is at.
