Default Ring and Pinion Gears

I have 3.07 Gears in right now. I would like to get some gears around 3.23 or higher. Prefer 3.46 gears. Still would like to drive it on the street. What you got?

how used are they? Need to think about that one. 3.07 to 3.23 doesn't seem like a big enough difference.

3.42 is probably most preferable

You can get 3.42 gears from any 73-91 Suburban or full size Blazer with the 1/2 axle which is the corporate 8.5 rear.

I wont' want the full rear end. I just want the gears. I guess if you would be interested we could trade gears and that way you will have a complete rear end still for sale. and how soon is shortly? I need to have my car up and running no later the middle of june. I am leaving then. Moving to Illinois.

It wont be easier that way I dont think...having the gears in will save someone the $150-$200 it will cost to have a set of gears installed. I shouldnt have a problem selling it as a unit when the time comes. It will probably be the first week of June.

Hi,

I have some 3.73 Richmond gears ( for GM 8.5" 10 bolt rear ) with only a few 1/4 mile test passes on them, still new looking, no wear pattern to speak of.
They were bought off a member here not too long ago and were never installed in my rear, I'm going to use a complete new rear end I have that already has the same gears in.

$110.00 US plus shipping.

PM me if your interested, I can ship asap.
