Here's one of mine at our local cruise. The owner of the host restaurant (The Chickenburger in Bedford NS) hired a photographer and we all got some great pics of our rides.

Good Morning All
Does anyone have a factory picture or original picture of a 1972 GTO 455 HO rear decklid decal? I need to scan it find out original measurements from the side and from the bottom. Any information would be great. Thanks guys! |

Thanks for the warm welcome and the link Lloyd. I, myself, do not have a '72 but am helping a friend try to get this scarce decal reproduced. He has a '72 but unfortunately without the ducktail spoiler. I will post some pictures of what I have here when I get a moment. Thank you for the information.

That's what he was thinking but we were both skeptical about the "H.O." from the spoiler being the correct size. Good to know.

In a pinch, it's good to know that I can use the H.O. from the spoiler decal with a front fender decal and get the placement right.

Couple of things to mention, nh . . .
1) From what I've gathered through the years, Jim Osborn's repros aren't that great. 2) The fender (or 1/4 panel) "GTO" decal is larger than the correct deck lid decal. Just a couple of "words to the wise" . . .
