Finally found a picture I've been looking for. It's one of my favorites. IIRC, it was November of 2008. Our club was having an All-Pontiac show at a place called Ricky n Ronnies in Torrance, CA, about 30 minutes from my house.
When we left the house that morning all was fine. About 5 miles from the diner the skies opened up big time. We ended up getting there about 20 minutes early and were the only ones there. Got out in the rain and took a few pictures. About 30 minutes after the picture was taken the rain stopped, the sun came out and we had one helluva great show. I came home with a 'Top 10' plaque. Three weeks later, without any warning, Ricky n Ronnies shut their doors for good.

i remember seeing PMDRacers car before i ever repainted mine, and i loved how clean it looked with all the trim off of it. That car is a big part of why i took the luxury lemans trim off of mine when i redid it. Your car is awesome Bill... i love the fact that it runs how it does, but also was your driver, family cruiser, and racecar all at once. Also like bill's car.. mine was a 350/350 auto on the column.

Sometimes those unplanned, spur of the momemt photos like that turn out to be the best ones. You couldn't have planned that photo any better. Looks like a neat little diner too - too bad it closed.

Had it out today... Funny, the paint takes on a much deeper gold tone in the sun than I've noticed in the past.

Nice touch to the Quezal gold paint and black interior. Sure stands out from the standard body colored wing, no? |

The Luxo LeMans was my favorite non GTO when I was in HS, there were a few in my Chicago neighborhood that owners had 'souped up'. If I had one, I'd leave all the chrome, as a sleeper.
The kids dissing LeMans have no clue about Pontiac history!! |

Just brought this home, sadly its gonna be a parts car, mother nature has been very unkind, and the previous owner parking it under a tree for 15 years not willing to part with it till his recent divorce, the wife got the house and wanted the car gone.

I LOVE IT!!!
I have a Quezal Gold Vert and always wanted to put a wing on it and thought of doing it black. Did it come that way or did you just paint it that way. There was an option code for it wasn't there?

It seems this spoiler is an unpainted repro. I think they came this way? Not sure off the top of my head. All this car needs is some honeycombs and Judge emblems! |

FYI: 71 Judge offered the no cost "black spoiler" or WT-7 option. Had to be Cameo White as well. RPO 604.

Don't know if you'd wanna see mine. It's not so much a survivor as a victim (original paint, original rust, original dents). Mechanically sound though.

Here's mine. Baltimore built early November and shipped to Australia and converted to RHD. Sold as a new car in Melbourne Jan/Feb 1970. Still wears the original issue number plates. Was originally Baja Gold but the previous owner painted it a colour close (that's how I console myself for the colour change LOL) to 70 Burgundy in the mid 80's.
I bought it in 89/90 when I was 18 and am the fifth owner. Matching numbers 350HP still in place too. I just got it out and drove it for the first time in ages tonight, thought I'd better take some snaps. ![]() It's got some lumps and bumps and bits needing TLC etc. but I love it and can't imagine ever being without it!
