69 convertible top well liner
How are the convertible top well liners mounted/attached? Are they glued in? I might need to take mine down and it's never been off since the car was restored almost 10 years ago. Is it difficult?
Black part of it is visible in the trunk and white side is put into the well itself, correct? I ask as I have seen some cars with the white side out and some with the black side out too. Have they improved the material over time as it never looked like the original mesh/weaved stuff that was used when they were new. Mine looks and feels like vinyl.

I believe.....
1) In the back and sides it is fastened to the rear trim sticks just like the top. In the front it folds over the top of the rear seat brace and is bolted on (trapped behind) the parade boot mounting strip.
2) Black side is visible from the interior, white side in the trunk. 3) Originals used the top material turned inside out? I think the repros use vinyl instead.
