I am trying to match up a Rochester quadrajet 7028264 750 cfm out of a 1968 Firebird to my 69 GTO that has a 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix engine with stock intake manifold. I currently have a 600 cfm Edelbrock. The throttle lever on the quadrajet does not match up to the throttle linkage bracket is there something that I am missing? Is there a difference in the carb set up for a manual vs. automatic ? Does th 68 quad not fit to a 71 engine? As you can see the set up for the throttle lever is different for both. Thanks in advance.
