Default Hinge broke

I was at a car show this weekend with my '68 GTO and the passenger side hood hinge broke, I took the spring off and was able to close the hood. Now what, any tips on replacing the hinge, any new type of hinges out there to consider, chrome or painted?
Thanks

Chrome?! I'll politely withhold my comments...

There are two hinges available to my knowledge, unfortunately, I don't know who is making them. I can tell you only one of them actually fits well.

Our host probably offers the good one, although I've never bought hinges from them. Ames sells the good ones. A phone call to Stacy at PY will get you the answers, if they don't have issues with the ones they sell, they obviously sell the good ones.

Thank you for being polite Paul, I have seen some billet polished custom made hinges at SEMA that looked interesting and was more wondering how good they were, didn't really mean chrome chrome!. I found the ones at Ames and will order some today.
