What can I use to shim my wp pulley out about a 1/2"?

I've used fan spacers behind the pulley in the past. I don't know if they are offered in 1/2" but it's worth a try to look since they always seemed to work well.

I may end having to do the same thing. Luckily, I work in a machine shop. If I can dig up a piece of stock, I want to turn one out of aluminum.

I am trying to adapt a 70 and up water pump pulley onto my 8 bolt pump setup. Since I can't seem to find the "correct" pulley to speed up the fan.

Water pump pulley spacers should be available at your local auto parts store.

a single spacer 1/2 inch thick is much much better than several of those stacked shims. better yet is the correct combination of hub, pulleys and accessories
