Does any one have a picture of the trunk weatherstrip installed on there 69? I want to make sure mine is in correctly before I glue it thanks!.

I can try to get some pics tommorow. You wouldn't believe the number of people that put it in upside down! I've even seen it upside down on concourse cars at the nationals! Scott

so it curves out away from the trunk opening?how about the lip does it go under or over the trunk flange?

Yes---the top edge points outwards as you asked.
On the two lips about midway down....I'll have to check on a car here. Have temporary access to a computer right now as mine crashed so it may be a bit 'til I can check and respond. Maybe someone else can pipe in in the meantime. THanks

Not sure if you have it in yet or not, but the cross section pic provided is very good and you should find it very easy and logical when you actually go to install. The rubber protrusion fits under a metal lip on the inside and the seal curves away from the trunk opening as mentioned.
Be sure to carefully inspect the gasket channel all the way around and repair any holes you find. Water will find its way even through a small pinhole under the gasket.

yes its installed picture helped a ton thanks,new mexico car so no rust and it was just painted a month back.Im just assembling it now.

I did'nt know it needed to be glued. I've done a few and just forced them in...
