Rear sway bar?
Was a rear sway bar ever available on a 69 gto? Were they first offered in 70?

Not until 1970.
Of course you can retrofit the sway bar and boxed lower control arms required to fit the sway bar onto any '64 -'72 A-body Pontiac. |

Here is a photo of the sway bar installed on my 69 GTO, made a noticeable difference.

I think half the benefit of adding a rear bar is having stronger (boxed) arms with fresh bushings.
